Piwakawaka are getting fit & healthy!!

This term as a syndicate we are exploring healthy eating to fuel our bodies , getting active to make ourselves strong and all together strive to succeed to be the best we can be.

Today we started our fitness rotation. students are mixed up into 5 groups made up of children from rooms 9,10,11 & 12.

Each teacher ( with the help of the amazing Kathy) hosts a game , skill or sport and works with each group . This afternoon the students tried skipping , hula hooping, duck duck goose , throwing and balancing.

It was awesome to see students persevering when they found things tough and giving everything a go.
